The Ontario accident legislation has grown more complex over the years and we can help make sure that you receive all the benefits and awards you are entitled to under the Insurance Law.
There might be two types of cases as a result of injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents in Ontario: Accident Benefits and Tort claims.
Statutory Accident Benefits provides compensation to injured persons regardless of fault. Some of these benefits are optional and can only be paid in certain circumstances.
Tort is a typically a lawsuit against the person at fault and it pays for certain head of damages, which can include claim(s) for pain and suffering, income loss, medical, rehabilitation and so on.
